Childrens Films Homework

The children's films that I watched were Robin Hood a well known Disney classic and Shrek 2 a film that is meant to be humorous for children and the adults that are forced to sit down and watch. Robin Hood was created by disney where the main characters are cartoon animals, this is done to make the characters seem friendly and harmless. There is also alot of music and singing amongst the characters, this is done as children will interact with the dvd and most probably sing along, the most common example of this is Jungle Book. The age range for this film is 5-10 yet it seems to be lightly enjoyable even if you are much older than targeted age range. The second film that I watched was Shrek 2, the film starts with a happy start where Shrek and the Princess are happily married but then the tides turn once they are invited to go see the princesses parents in Far Far Away. This is done as children of the targeted range are 8-15 start to wont a bit of drama, tension and excitement in what they watch.
